We are excited that Isaac and his mother will be traveling to the United States, where he has been approved to receive surgeries and follow-up care, taking six months.
12 year-old Isaac was severely burned while working in dangerous child labor conditions, making shoe polish.
Isaac is unable to close his right eye, has some hearing loss, and continues to fight infections. He also suffers from ridicule from some in his village because of how he now looks as a result of his injuries.
