Thanksgiving is a time of reflection as we look back on the year and reminisce about everything we are thankful for. African Vision of Hope is no different. Looking back at 2018, it is evident that God has poured out His blessings through you and your generosity. Because you stepped up and stepped out, much has been accomplished across the globe this year, including:
- 802,800 hot lunches were served
- 10,000 people are provided clean water every day
- 3,000 children are provided an education daily
- 425 students have completed high school to date
- 106 graduates have received college scholarships to date
- 33 life-saving surgeries were completed
- 52 men and women have graduated seminary
- 263 communities have been impacted by seminary graduates
- 46,600 people have heard the gospel and are being discipled by the same graduates
- 598 communities were impacted
- 67,580 Individuals were provided education and life-saving services
- 11,727 volunteer hours were performed by more than 200 volunteers and mission team members
- $1,104,397.00 was given to transform lives across the globe
All of this is because of YOU. “Thankful” seems too small of a word to describe the gratitude the students and staff at African Vision of Hope feel in their hearts. They are living out God’s plan for their lives and are becoming leaders in their country and community. Thank you for making 2018 a year of hope and transformation.
